Telesimulation or distance simulation is defined as simulation training in which the participants and/or facilitators are geographically separated from each other while facilitators are providing real time feedback.
See the image of a faculty member in Atlanta, GA watching students live in Cleveland, Ohio participating in a simulation. The faculty member is watching live on a digital platform (i.e., Zoom) and at the conclusion of the simulation the faculty provides the students an expert, specialty-specific, debriefing. Our faculty led the development of the newly published (2024) international guidelines on this approach and have done extensive research in this area to ensure highly effective remote mentored training (from a distance), ensuring that your students get the best training possible regardless of location.
For many residency and fellowship programs, it is mandatory to have simulation experiences to meet the training guidelines from the ACGME. However, while many programs have sim centers or access to sim centers, many programs lack faculty with expertise in medical simulation or have faculty who have completed fellowships in medical simulation. Our experts will help you set up a training curriculum of targeted cases with your residency/fellowship faculty, nursing school, etc and schedule your training sessions with our expert faculty. This will help programs meet all requirements for simulation training while providing expert training to your learners that otherwise may not be locally available. We aim to provide the highest level of satisfaction for your student’s distance simulation experience with us.
